Nancy Ann Ellis (No Dates) - Homemade Marker

Ellis Family Cemetery
Located about four miles northwest of Holladay, Tennessee and about two miles from the Old Union Church . . a dirt road leads off to the left and to the old Ellis homesite and cemetery.  It is a rough dirt road, but passable.  The cemetery is fenced with a gate (see below).  The cemetery is slowly being restored as time and money permit by caring descendants.  One very large, 10 foot tall stone, has toppled to the ground and another "building" has fallen over the gravesite, with only the roof left.  There are many unmarked graves and some 15 to 20 homemade concrete markers which are deteriorating, crumbling, and moss covered so the names are becoming illegible.
